Dear Family
End of Year Transition
We have organised an outdoor picnic in the school grounds so pupils can come in before the end of term to say goodbye to their friends and class teacher before the summer break. They will also have an opportunity to take home exercise books and display work and to briefly meet their new class teacher. You will also be able to collect your child’s school report. It will be a lovely way to mark the end of this unprecedented and challenging academic year. If it rains, we will relocate to the main hall.
At all times we will be practising social distancing and the areas used will be disinfected before and after each class. Hand sanitiser will also be readily available.
Please send your child to school with a picnic lunch: no glass bottles, fizzy drinks, nuts or sweets. We will ensure that additional snacks are available on the day for anyone who needs them. Please also send in a carrier bag for exercise books etc.
Children currently attending school should still come to school at their scheduled time. Parents can choose to provide a picnic lunch. The school will provide one if they have universal/free school meals.
The date and time for your child’s picnic is detailed below. It is also very important that you keep to the drop off and collection times.
