Welcome to 6F
Teacher: Mrs J Finisterre-Martin
Teaching Assistant: Mrs Rukiye Ozsoy
This year all of our classes are named after British landmarks. 6F is called HMS Belfast class. Later this year we will be visiting the ship which is moored at Tower Bridge (along the River Thames). During the first week this term, the children learnt about the significance of HMS Belfast during the Second World War (which is one of our History topics in Year 6) and how it was acquired by the Imperial Warm Museum. 6F imagined what life was like for soldiers on HMS Belfast during WWII and wrote letters and sketched the ship. Their work is on display outside the classroom.
