We encourage parents to please make every effort to ensure your child arrives to school on time in order to have a good start to the day.

Our Nursery has a session every day in the mornings from 8.40am to 11.40am.

For children in Reception to Year 6, a total of 32.9 hours is provided in a typical school week.

The school day starts at 8.55am. At Bruce Grove, the gate is open for arrival between 8.45-8.55am. Children arriving after 9.00am are marked as late in the register.

The school day ends at 3.30pm. The gate is opened for parents to collect their children from the playground between 3.30-3.40pm. To avoid any distress to your child, please collect them on time. The school may charge parents a fee for late collections. (Please see our late collection protocol letter).

Assembly and breaks:

Morning assembly (Monday to Thursday): 10.40am

Morning break: 10.55-11.10am

Lunch period: 12.00-1.00pm (Reception & Yr1); 12.30-1.30pm (Yr2-Yr6)

Class assembly (Fridays): 3pm

Clubs:

• Breakfast club starts at 7.45am and finishes at 8.50am, when children are taken to their respective classes.
• Morning booster club starts at 8.00am, Monday to Friday.
• On Wednesday and Thursday there are league football clubs, from 3.45pm to 4.45pm
• After-school 1 hour clubs run until 4.45pm, and wrap around care finishes at 6.00pm.
