This year all our classes are named after artists. 6F is Claude Monet (1840-1926) Class; a French Impressionist artist. At the start of the Autumn term, the pupils learnt about Monet's life and studied one of his famous paintings: 'The Japanese Footbridge'. They used mixed media (watercolours, oil pastels and chalk) to recreate the painting and wrote a poem based on it, using lots of figurative and descriptive language.
