  • Pendarren June 2016

    Mon 06 Jun 2016
After seven hours of travelling we have finally arrived at Pendarren.  The children were fantastic on the coach chatted away for hours; listened to some music and had a sleep.  We have had lunch and completed Bushcraft activities, making shelters, creating fires and toasting some yummy treats.  In true Welsh style the skies opened and we all got soaked.  The children are now making their beds, having a shower and getting ready for dinner.  I will post some pictures once they are all tucked up and asleep.

On Thursday 28th April 2016, the Year 5 athletics team went to the New River running track to compete in the Haringey Quad Kids Athletics competition.  They came a very respectable 17th out of 30 primary schools from across Haringey.  Each child competed in the following events: 75m sprint, 600 m, long jump, throwing a howler and a team relay.  We all had a great day.  Well done to the team: Michael, Muhammed, Alex, Alisan, Shanique, Sarafina, Telijah and Aya.  A special mention goes to Michael and Shanique for winning their sprint heats and coming in the top 10 in a field of 120 competitors!
  • St George's Day 2016

Thu 28 Apr 2016 Charlotte Angeli
Today we had a wonderful day celebrating St George's Day.
All of the children came to school dressed in red, white and blue and danced the morning away doing some traditional country dancing.  In the afternoon, the children were treated to afternoon tea.
The children really enjoyed their scones.  Yummy!
Thank you to all the families for their kind donations and to all of the adults who helped prepare and serve the children.
