  • Choir Performance

    Tue 20 Dec 2016

Today, children in the choir gave a short acappella performance of Christmas songs.  They sang beautifully in front of the whole school.  Well done children and thank you to Ms. Azanya Byers-Andrews for taking on the club in Tara Attwood's absence.  Please see the Gallery section for video clips.

Last night's performance was cancelled due to many last minute cancellations.  We will endeavour to give plenty of notice in the future!

This week is Science week and the children are learning all about the Circus.

Today we were treated to an assembly where we saw plate spinning, juggling and lots of other tricks.

Then the children all had a go themselves in a circus skills workshop.  It was great fun!

Throughout the week, the children will be carrying out lots of experiments all linked to the circus.

Bruce Grove March to the Quarter Finals
BGP Boys and girls teams stormed to the quarter finals of the St Thomas More Football tournament. The boys team were undefeated through the group games.  They defend well, only letting in two goals in seven games. Yet, it was their attack which stole the show, with 14 goals, notable mentions to Michael (9 goals) and Mohamed L (4). However the girls also deserve time in the spotlight, with them winning three and drawing one of their five games. The girls defended well, with Safia saving lots of difficult shots. Yet again it was the attack which dominated, with Shanique scoring 6 goals and Marie-Sara and Sarafina scoring one a piece. However, sadly both teams were knocked out in close quarter finals, with the girls and the boys both losing 1-0.
