Year 5 Visit to Chichester
Our journey to Chichester was smooth and quick. When we arrived it was pouring down with rain! So we have quickly moved to Plan B - seaside tomorrow and then straight home.
The children are having a great time getting to know their new surroundings and exploring the trim trail, playing fields and play equipment! They have also created some lovely water colours of West Wittering Beach and produced some colourful sand art.
The rain has now passed and we plan to walk around the town.
The sun came out for us this afternoon as we walked around Chichester town centre. We visited the cathedral and the Roman Wall and took in all the sights.
Day 2
We spent the morning at West Wittering Beach. The weather was sunny and warm with a gentle breeze. The children paddled in the sea and played in the sand. Then we had lunch. Relaxed and chilled, we begin the coach journey back to school.
