Today and yesterday the whole school sold their enterprise products to parents, staff and pupils. There were lots of tasty treats on offer. For instance 6F had an entire meal for sale which included chicken, macaroni cheese and salad! R2 completely sold out of their delicious hibiscus juice and 4A had a selection of sweet and savoury crepes. Yum! Thank you to all the families who came out to shop. It really gave the children a sense of purpose and an insight into the world of work. Many thanks to Mr.Haddon for leading Enterprise Week and getting all the staff involved.
if you were unable to come this week, 5P and some of the other classes will be selling for a final time on Tuesday 26th November, after school.
This week each class is working as a small business to design and develop a healthy food and drink product. Classes have been given a budget, courtesy of Virgin Money, to buy raw materials for their product, which they will sell at the end of the week on Thursday and Friday between 3.30 and 4.15pm. Class 5P will be selling onTuesday 26th November at the same time. This task allows children to work as a team, problem solve, lead, develop creativity and manage money. We are looking forward to sampling their products. Please come along and support the children with their enterprise. The stalls will be in the downstairs hall.
We will be hosting a coffee morning in support of Macmillan cancer care. Please bring cake donations to the office by Thursday (no nuts please).
All parents and carers welcome. Downstairs Hall from 9.15am.
Children can wear something GREEN and bring a £1 donation.
