R1 - Buckingham Palace

Teacher:  Emma Quare

Fridays: Majid Ghorbanian

Teaching Assistant: Joaquina Alvares

Our class name this year has been inspired by the famous London landmark Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace is the official London home and working headquarters of the British monarch, King Charles III. inside there are 775 rooms including 19 State Rooms, and is a major tourist attraction where visitors can tour the State Rooms in summer and see the famous Changing the Guard ceremony.

On special occasions the Royal Family will appear on the balcony, often with a fly past of some special aircraft. We have created our own version of Buckingham Palace and the Royal Balcony, please have a look next time you visit our classroom.

We created these two displays while learning about Buckingham Palace.

Visiting Tottenham Fire Station

On Friday the 5th December we visited Tottenham Fire Station and Blue Watch.

Fire Fighter Anthony got dresses in his fire fighting clothes in 25 seconds!

And we got to watch and hear the fire engine move as if it was an emergency.

If you have an emergency you need to call 999.
