• Bad Hair Day 2017

  Friday 10th February was Bad Hair Day - a fundraising event for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.  Bruce Grove pupils did their part and came to school with some crazy dos!  Well done children and parents for supporting this worthy cause.

  

• Haringey Cycling League

  On Friday 3rd February, a team of cyclist competed in a time trial at Finsbury Park Athletics Track.  The children cycled round the track with only the clock to beat!  A great afternoon was had by all.  It is so nice to see the children becoming more confident handling their bikes and using the gears to help them go faster!  If you want to take part, make sure you do the Bikeability training when it is your turn!

  

• Indoor Athletics competition

  On Thursday 26th January a team of children competed at the Indoor Athletics at Heartlands High School.  The team had great fun, competed well and represented our school brilliantly. We had some great results in our heats with some children winning their events overall.  A special well done to Michael and Hamza in the 6 lap relay, Shakara and Sarafina in the 2 lap relay and Michael in the triple jump, who won their events.  The team came 4th out of 12 schools - the best result for years.  Well done athletes!
