Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On Thursday some year 3 children and their parents took part in an Science Inspire workshop. It was so lovely to see so many people there. All of the parents and children who attended the Science INSPIRE session enjoyed it and would like to come along again.
"It was lovely doing chemistry with my daughter at her school. The science was fun, we created beautiful colours."
"It was fun. Good to learn with your child and be given ideas to do at home."
Look out for the next session. Thank you Ms Davis for arranging.
On Friday afternoon, all of key stage 1 and 2 took part in a maths team challenge day.
All the children belong to a house team, they were working together in a team to complete a series of maths challenges. They participated in the arithmetic challenge, the ultimate times table challenge and some children were selected to participate in the relay challenge.
The children all worked really hard to win as many points for their team as possible. We are very busy adding up the totals and the winning team will be announced on Thursday in assembly. Good luck everyone!
It was lovely to see the children working well together with children from other year groups and they all demonstrated great concentration and some brilliant maths.

Every lunchtime, the staff at Bruce Grove are looking out for children who have good manners in the dining hall. 8 children are then selected at random to have afternoon tea with Ms George.
Have a look at the picture below to see the children drinking their tea and having a lovely time.
We were very lucky to have some amazing animals come and visit Bruce Grove. Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes had a workshop and the rest of the school could pop in at the end of the day.
What a wonderful experience! Thank you Ms Nwaneri for arranging.
