At Bruce Grove Primary School we are working hard to become an Eco-Friendly School.
We have been working with the charity EcoActive, to think about how to reduce the amount of waste we are producing.

Saving Water
For 2 days, the eco team worked really hard to:
- become more water aware
- know how much water our schools uses
- understand the environmental cost of water and its link to CO2 emissions
- recognise what they can do to reduce their water use both at school and at home
- meet the challenge to create a water aware school
- understand how small changes by all pupils add up to a huge amount of water savings
- investigating our schools toilets, sinks (to find any leaking)
All the children are taking home 4 minute shower timers so they and their family can take the challenge!!!
