6F - Alexandra Palace

Welcome to 6F.

Class teacher: Mrs Finisterre-Martin

Teaching assistant: Mrs Rukiye Ozsoy

This year all our classes are named after Haringey landmarks in recognition of Haringey being the London borough of culture 2027!

Alexandra Palace:

The Palace itself opened in 1873, now the People’s Palace is visited and loved by over a million people each year. Boasting panoramic views of London that are second to none, guests can enjoy freshly cooked meals in the Palace’s pub or Park cafés, ice skate on the Palace’s own ice rink, pedal around in the boating lake and take advantage of the 196 acres of unspoilt parkland. Other activities include a yearlong calendar of events and exhibitions, soft play adventure equipment for the children, a pitch and put, a deer enclosure, a skate park and popular weekly farmers market each Sunday.

Within its walls, the Palace boasts spaces rich in history including the original BBC broadcasting studios and a historic Victorian theatre. These hidden gems are open to the public during Open House each September.
