Young, fit and active!
At Bruce Grove we want all our children to enjoy physical education and to do well at it. We do this by seeking to provide quality teaching, a range of opportunities in and out of school and clubs. It is our dream that all pupils will leave our school knowing what it means to live a healthy, active lifestyle and will choose to do so now and into their adult years.
It is great to have you all back in school and enjoying learning! This year we have a lot more rules to follow because of COVID-19 but that is not going to stop us experiencing quality teaching and learning in PE. In fact, you all participated in, and I hope enjoyed, a few weeks of fitness and agility, balance and coordination (ABCs) related activities. Did you know that this will help you in all sports and even other areas of learning? Well, now you know!
This term we have coaches working with Years 2,3,5 and 6 for at least one of the two lessons each week and soon you will get to meet them here on this page.
This page is going to be just as in the past, full of photos (perhaps of you!), videos and links that can help you get out there. The wonderful world of sports and physical education awaits you!
In the meantime, remember: Young, fit and active!
