Bruce Grove Primary and Nursery School PM Club

Last September we were delighted to be able to launch our very own extended school day until 6PM. We have a number of children signed up to the club who are really enjoying the range of activities on offer and the opportunity to make new friends across the whole school.

The main point of contact for the extended school day is Ms Kasia Zimolag and Ms Debbie Frewer; they are the After School Club Managers.

The club should be paid in advance to the office or online via www.schoolmoney.co.uk 

On the registration form, parents have signed their child up to attend the club on specific days. These should not be changed unless arranged in advance with the After School Club Manager.

At 3:30pm, when school has finished, the children go out with their class and wait to be taken to the downstairs hall where children line up, ready for their club.

Each child that has signed up for the extended school day automatically goes to one of our after school clubs on offer for the whole school. The children have selected which club they would like to go to and will stay in this club for the term.

At 4:45pm, when the after school clubs have finished, the extended school children are collected by a member of the team. At this time, the children are provided with an After School Snack Bag which includes a savoury snack, a piece of fruit and occasionally a biscuit or piece of cake. The 3 week menu can be found on our school website -  please note this may change on occasion.

After the children have had their healthy snack, they then have the opportunity to carry out a wide range of activities which might include: board games; indoor and outdoor games; team games; reading; model making; role play; arts & crafts, singing & dancing; movie time; computer games or simply socialising with their friends.

The children can be collected at anytime from 4:45pm until 6pm. Parents and carers just need to come to the main office and a member of the team will collect your child.
