Today the children learnt a new dance routine... wow were they fabulous... check out the video. πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ»

This year our class is named after Malorie Blackman. We have learnt all about her life and what inspired her to write her books.
We watched some of her interviews and she gave tips on how to become an author ✍🏼

Who knows - we could have a potential famous author in 6P.

Welcome to 6P

Welcome back to a brand new academic year!   smiley

I hope you all enjoyed the summer break. It's lovely to see the children again. Everyone looks so smart and grown up.

We will start year 6 by establishing good routines and behaviour. We will also have to spend some time on revision, so we feel confident and ready to start year 6.

It is important that the children establish good routines at home as well as school. They  will be expected to complete all homework tasks and read every evening for 20-30 mins.

This is a very important year as the children will take their SATs in May, so we will have to work very hard in preparation for this.

It's going to be tough at times, but it's also going to be GREAT!
