Welcome to 3D. Our class is named after Stevie Wonder who is a famous American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He was born on 13th May 1950 as Stevland Hardaway Morris. Blind since shortly after his birth, Stevie was a child prodigy signing for Motown's Tamla record label. He has won 25 Grammy Awards. His song 'Happy Birthday' was part of his campaign to make Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday in America. In 2009, Stevie Wonder was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace.

You don't have any compulsory homework to do but here are a few ideas if you are feeling bored.
Can you make your own model of a volcano? You could make a papier mache volcano or practise your origami skills. There are lots of ideas and instructions for making volcanoes on the internet. See what you can find and have a go.
If you don't have a tablet or computer you can play Times Tables Rock Stars on a mobile phone. The log in is the same as your Purple Mash log in without the .309
On Purple Mash I have set some holiday maths games if you want to keep up with your multiplication and fractions.

Summer Holiday Activitiies
The Summer holidays have begun so enjoy, be helpful at home and stay safe. If you want to keep practising or are bored remember MyMaths, Purple Mash and Times Table Rock Stars have lots of activities and games to play. You can also look below for some activities and puzzles to keep you busy. Online books are available to read on Oxford Owls (username and password were emailed and can be found in our Google Classroom). There is also a Summer reading challenge which you can join by clicking here.
