Welcome to 3D.  Our class is named after Stevie Wonder who is a famous American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He was born on 13th May 1950 as Stevland Hardaway Morris.  Blind since shortly after his birth, Stevie was a child prodigy signing for Motown's Tamla record label.  He has won 25 Grammy Awards.  His song 'Happy Birthday' was part of his campaign to make Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday in America.  In 2009, Stevie Wonder was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace.

We listened to some of the Stevie Wonder songs below.

Our class assembly was all about our topic, The Ancient Egyptians and The River Nile.   The children worked really hard to learn their lines in a limited time.  Together we also wrote a rap, which we performed with some cool dance moves.

Our British Museum Trip gave us the opportunity to further explore the life of the Ancient Egyptians.
