Mary Hoffman

Mary Hoffman is an British children's author. She has written some famous books, many about serious issues, such as 'Amazing Grace', 'Grace & Family' and 'An Angel Just Like Me'. One of her most famous works, 'Amazing Grace', has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide and was a finalist for the Kate Greenaway prize in 1991. Mary Hoffman has also written a series of books for teenagers, called Stravaganza.

She was born in Hampshire, England, in 1945 and attended the University of Cambridge.
